Working Hours: This position requires flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays. Weekly hours will vary depending on business needs.

Job Summary: The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of the store to ensure efficiency, quality, and excellent customer service. This role involves supervising team members, maintaining inventory and food safety standards, and assisting in achieving sales and performance goals. The Assistant Manager serves as a key leader in motivating staff, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring the store operates smoothly during all shifts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train team members to ensure high performance, adherence to company standards, and excellent customer service.
- Assist the Store Manager in planning and executing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage food preparation, storage, and waste to maintain cost efficiency.
- Enforce compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Address and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Support scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations for team members.
- Help achieve sales targets and operational goals by analyzing performance and implementing improvements.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- Step in as acting Store Manager when needed, making operational decisions to ensure smooth store operations.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
An ideal candidate will have experience with or understanding of:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and restaurant operations.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and scheduling.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to follow company procedures and uphold operational standards.
- Dependable, motivated, and capable of taking initiative.
Education and Experience:
An ideal candidate will have the following education and experience:
- Previous retail, food service, or customer service experience.
- On-the-job training is provided for all new team members.
Working environment and physical requirements:
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- Must be able to stand during the entire work shift.
- Must be able to work in a cooler at a temperature of 35 degrees for up to 30 minutes.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Must be able to tolerate gas fumes and cleaning products.
- Must be able to climb a ladder to clean windows.
Travel: Must be able to travel up to 10%
