Job Summary:
We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to provide skilled nursing care, case management, and hospice care to individuals experiencing advancing age, frailty, and serious illness. The Registered Nurse will perform patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant nursing experience and an active nursing license. Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
- Manage case documentation and patient records accurately.
- Provide hospice and palliative care to patients with serious illnesses.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment (no compact license accepted).
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.
- Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
- Strong interdisciplinary team collaboration abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Driver's license, car insurance, and reliable automobile for field work.
- Experience in Medical/Surgical, ICU, ER, Psychiatric, Labor & Delivery, PACU, or Operating Room specialties.
- Previous experience with credentialing and contract compliance processes.
- Permanent nursing license required; compact licenses are not accepted.
- Candidate must complete credentialing and documentation requirements prior to assignment start.
- Travelers with prior employment at ATI within the last year are not eligible for rehire until one year separation.
- Work environment may include hospice and home health settings.
- Day shifts, 40 hours per week with holiday work requirements.
- Overtime paid at 1.5 times regular rate.
- Work schedule and shifts assigned based on facility needs.
