Job Description

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic imaging services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. The role requires proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT scans of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, as well as biopsy and drainage procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate knowledge of processing CT systems and surgical/sterile procedures.
• Administer studies with or without contrast media and ensure adherence to cross-sectional anatomy protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Graduate of an accredited AMA school.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
• Licensed by the state as a general radiographer.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience and prior travel experience.
