As a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, you will be responsible for both caregiving and care management. You will assume responsibility for a group of patients, implementing the Nursing Process, and directing the work of other caregivers through delegation, coordination, supervision, and evaluation of patient care outcomes. Your role will require sound judgment and the ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.

• Perform comprehensive assessments focusing on physiologic, psychosocial, and cognitive status
• Implement care plans consistently and skillfully, adhering to policies and procedures
• Identify and address patient learning needs, implementing teaching as needed
• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records
• Demonstrate sensitivity to patient rights and cultural diversity
• Delegate and supervise patient care activities effectively
• Organize and prioritize tasks using critical thinking skills
• May function as a Charge Nurse, coordinating patient assignments and staff coverage
• Maintain professional growth through continuous education and training
• Adhere to safety requirements and organizational policies

Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Current Washington State RN Licensure
• HCP Level of BLS within 30 days of hire
• ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
• PALS certification within 12 months of hire
• TNCC certification within 12 months of hire
• PEARS certification within 12 months of hire
• Moderate sedation training within 12 months of hire
• Need 1 year experience in setting
