Cardiovascular Technologist (CVOR Tech)
The Cardiovascular Technologist (CVOR Tech) will assist the surgical team in cardiovascular procedures within the CVOR. The role includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring surgical instruments are sterilized, and assisting in procedures such as open-heart surgeries and thoracic cases.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in open heart surgeries, CABG, valve replacements, and other cardiovascular procedures.
- Cross-train into general OR if CV volumes are low.
- Willingness to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter to supplement hours.
- Support in thoracic and vascular cases.
Requirements:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA Certificate or NCCT.
- North Dakota Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP) certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience including open hearts, CABG, and valve procedures.
- Ability to first scrub in CVOR.
- Willingness to work holidays and participate in on-call rotations with a 15-minute response time.

Shift: 8H Days days+call, 08:00:00-16:00:00, 8.00-5
Contract Length: 13 weeks
