Visiting Angels Olympia is hiring caregivers to provide one-on-one care for seniors in Thurston County. We've been a trusted part of this community since 2008, and we're looking for compassionate people who want meaningful work with real benefits.

Starting pay: $20-$26/hour

- No license yet? Start at $20/hr—we'll help you get certified

- Already have your HCA or CNA? Start at $21/hr

- Shift differentials boost pay up to $26/hr

- Training and travel time between clients paid at $17.25/hr. We schedule thoughtfully to minimize drive time between shifts.

No HCA license? No problem.

Our Work-to-Train program helps you get certified while you work. We front the cost of your 75-hour HCA training course, and you pay it back through small, manageable payroll deductions. Many of our best caregivers started with no formal credentials—just a love of helping people.

What you'll do:

You'll provide personal care and companionship to seniors in their homes throughout Olympia, Lacey, Tumwater, and surrounding areas. This includes helping with daily activities like bathing, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transportation to appointments. Some of our clients are veterans, and we're proud to serve those who served our country.

What we're looking for:

• Current HCA or CNA license (or willingness to complete training within 120 days and obtain certification within the state-required timeframe—we'll help you through the process)

• Must be at least 18 years old

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance

• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

• Authorized to work in the United States

• Weekend availability during your first 90 days

• Ability to work a minimum of 16 hours/weekly

• Able to perform the physical demands of caregiving, including lifting up to 25 lbs, assisting with transfers, and standing/walking for extended periods

• Smartphone and email address required

• English fluency (spoken and written)

• A genuine desire to help seniors live safely and comfortably at home
