About the Position

Assessing uterine firmness and vaginal bleeding (lochia), monitoring vital signs, managing pain, facilitating skin-to-skin contact, aiding with breastfeeding, and providing education on newborn care and postpartum recovery.

Requirements

Must be able to circulate and recover C-Section patients and be able to float to post-Partum department.

Must have Fetal Monitoring certification.

Be able to care for babies during the recovery period is Preferred.

ACLS, BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring
