Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in Los Angeles, CA. The Merchant Services Underwriter will evaluate, analyze, and assess risk for merchant applications to determine their eligibility for payment processing services. Key responsibilities include verifying application information, conducting due diligence, assessing business financials, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Underwriter will also work closely with sales and risk teams to resolve application issues and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions. Qualifications Strong analytical skills, with experience in risk assessment and financial analysis Knowledge of merchant services, payment processing, and high-risk industries Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough due diligence and documentation review Proficiency in compliance standards, regulatory requirements, and fraud prevention processes Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external partners Technical understanding of payment systems and underwriting tools is a plus Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred Prior experience in merchant services underwriting is advantageous this job is in person there’s no hybrid or remote work #J-18808-Ljbffr AVP Solutions
