Location: Palm Beach, FL Category: Stock Support Req ID: 2761 Description Job Title: Event Support Specialist Location: Palm Beach, FL Job Type: Independent Contractor Pay: $17-$19 per hour (rate based on market and relevant experience) Expected Dates and Hours: 11/4-11/8 and 11/16-11/18 (8am-5pm) Job Overview Winston Retail is seeking an Event Support Specialist to assist with visual merchandising installations, event setup, and event breakdown activities. This hands-on role is responsible for organizing, unpacking, maintaining event materials, and executing client standards and directives with precision. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, demonstrating professionalism, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional event experiences. Responsibilities Support visual merchandising setups, installations, and event executions Organize, stage, inventory, and store visual assets, props, décor, and signage Assist with setting up, breakdown, packing, and asset management Maintain organized work and storage areas. Follow all security, safety, and operational procedures. Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device Smartphones are required for reporting: IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest Ability to lift to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift Experience & Skills Previous experience in event setup, visual merchandising, retail operations, inventory support, warehouse operations, or related fields preferred. Ability to lift, move, unpack, and organize event materials and display assets. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet event deadlines. Comfortable working collaboratively with visual merchandising and event teams.
