Overview Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT) | Location: Height Street Skilled Care - Bakersfield, CA | Position Type: Full-Time | Pay Rate: $70 - $75 per hour (DOE) Height Street Skilled Care, a skilled nursing facility in Bakersfield, CA, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team. Responsibilities Evaluate and assess residents’ functional abilities and needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Assist residents in improving daily living and self-care skills Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care Monitor and document resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Educate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques and safety practices Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory guidelines Participate in care planning meetings and required in-service trainings Qualifications Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California (required) Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Why Join Us?
