Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to support multiple pharmacy locations within a healthcare system serving Ventura County. This full-time role involves providing expert pharmaceutical care across three key sites: the main medical center, a hospital pharmacy, and an infusion center. Flexibility and adaptability are important as the pharmacist will float among these locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and prepare medications accurately across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Manage hazardous medications, including compounding chemotherapy agents, following safety protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Operate and maintain pharmacy systems, with training available for Cerner electronic health records
• Work variable shifts including 8 to 10-hour days, swing shifts, every other weekend, and holiday coverage as needed
• Travel between sites within the local area to support pharmacy services

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current pharmacy licensure and relevant experience as a Staff Pharmacist
• Familiarity with Cerner pharmacy systems is advantageous, with training provided
• Experience handling hazardous medications and compounding chemotherapy preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel between pharmacy locations regularly
• Local candidates strongly preferred due to travel requirements

Schedule:

• Full-time hours, varying between 8-hour and 10-hour shifts depending on site
• Includes swing shifts, weekend rotations, and holiday coverage
