Job Summary:
Sterile Processing Technician position available in Vermont. This role involves providing sterile instrument reprocessing and endoscope sterilization services. Candidates should have extensive experience in decontamination, prep and pack, steam and low-temperature sterilization, and familiarity with various service lines including robotics, general surgery, cardiovascular, neuro, and orthopedics. The position is scheduled for 8 hours per day, Monday through Sunday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. The assignment duration is 20 weeks.

Job Details:

• Location: 111 Colchester Avenue, Burlington, Vermont, 05401
• Shift: Rotating days and evenings (no fixed shift preferred)
• Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Sunday, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • 5 years of sterile processing experience
  • 1 year experience in a Level 1 academic medical center with 20 or more operating rooms
  • Certification: Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) offered by Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA)
  • Must have completed at least 2 travel assignments of 13 weeks or more each
  • Familiarity with Olympus Scopes and Washer, loaner trays, and hand washing delicate items
  • Experience with DaVinci Robot Xi, recent case pick and sterilization
  • Competent in decontamination, prep and pack, steam and low-temperature sterilization, and endoscope reprocessing
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional certifications such as CER, CIS, and CHL
• Additional Information:
  • Public transportation is not accessible; reliable transportation suggested
  • Must explain employment gaps over 90 days
  • Complete work history required for submission
