Full Time Cook Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 16.00 to $ 16.50 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift (Sunday through Saturday)

• Prepare and serve meals according to approved menus, recipes, and production sheets.
• Ensure meals are prepared accurately, attractively, and served on schedule.
• Prepare foods for therapeutic and modified diets as directed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention standards.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents, patients, staff, and guests.
• Shifts may vary slightly, flexibility is important

Full Time Cook Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Culinary arts, food service, or related vocational training preferred
• Preferred Experience 13 years of cooking experience required
• Preferred Certification ServSafe Certification.
• Knowledge of quantity food production and meal preparation.
• Understanding of therapeutic and modified diets.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
• Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, and fast-paced kitchen environments.
