We are seeking a Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to become a part of our team in MetroWest Orlando, FL! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of Rheumatology experience. Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant- Compensation & Structure: Salary - $95K - 100K (Based on experience) Full Benefits package w/ malpractice coverage Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am - 5pm
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant- Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments Joint injections if experienced Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant- Qualifications: Previous experience in Rheumatology required Ability to build rapport with patients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities Joint inject experience preferred but not required
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant- Requirements: Florida Medical License Proper certification from a nurse school for a nurse practitioner At least 1 year of Rheumatologist experience required Ideal start date: ASAP
