Delivery Specialist - Hub

Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $12.77 - $18.40 per hour. The hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Responsibilities Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution center. Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the set route, delivering to the appropriate store. Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries. Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle and keys secure. Familiar with accident report guidelines and ensure accident reports are completed as required. Ensure designated team member at each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest. Deliveries must be made according to the set schedule; report any delays to the city delivery supervisor and/or subsequent stores on the route. Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations. Communicate any problems or special needs from stores to store management. Clock in/out according to company policy. Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage prior to operating the vehicle each day. Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to the store manager. Ensure fuel tank is filled, lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day's business. Drive safely and defensively. Qualifications & Skills Legal state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements. Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system. Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Good interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
