Job Description

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and devise personalized therapy strategies to help them achieve their functional aspirations
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-based interventions to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities
• Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work in synergy with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Guide patients and their families on effective therapy practices to ensure continuous improvement at home
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary to keep patients on the path to recovery

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Encouragement and support for continuing education or post-graduate certifications

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• Mandatory NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification
