Job Title:ASL Interpreter (School-Based)Pay Range:Based on ExperinceJob Description:ASL Interpreter | Full-Time | Casa Grande, AZ | In-Person | Student SupportAbout the Role:Provide full-time American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation for a student across the entire school day, supporting access to academic instruction and school activities. You’ll work closely with teachers and staff to ensure the student can fully engage in classroom discussions, lessons, and peer interactions. This role requires strong real-time interpreting skills, preparation for complex academic content, and a collaborative, student-centered approach.Why Join Us:Founded and operated by practitioners and therapists who understand the work and prioritize meaningful supportCEU/license reimbursementFull benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)Paid sick leave, holidays, and vacationSupportive, collaborative school-based environmentWhat You'll Do:Provide real-time ASL interpretation for all instructional periods and school-related activitiesInterpret spoken language into ASL and ASL into spoken language to facilitate communicationSupport student access to upper-elementary academic content, including complex vocabulary and discussionsPrepare for sessions by reviewing lesson plans, materials, and subject-specific terminologyCollaborate with teachers, SPED staff, and related service providers to support student success and IEP goalsAssist with classroom routines, transitions, and student engagement while maintaining professional boundariesSupport and interface with assistive technology, including FM systems, as neededMaintain confidentiality and adhere to professional interpreting standardsWhat We're Looking For:Must Have:RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) certification requiredEIPA score of 3.5 or higher preferred/acceptedAZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance CardStrong ASL fluency and ability to interpret in real-time academic settingsPreferred:Experience interpreting in school-based or educational settingsFamiliarity with IEP environments and collaboration with multidisciplinary teamsStrong communication, organization, and adaptabilityAbout Point Quest Group:Point Quest Group is a leading national provider of special education services, partnering with 350+ school districts to help students with unique needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
