This position requires applicants to already have work authorization for the United States of America. Position Summary:The Restaurant Server is responsible for promoting and selling the Bluefin menu while delivering exceptional guest service. This position ensures accurate order taking, timely food delivery, guest satisfaction, and compliance with restaurant service and food safety standards. Experience & EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to read, write, and speak English effectivelyMinimum of 1 year of server experience in a high-volume or fine dining restaurant or dining facility Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesGreet guests promptly and provide a welcoming dining experienceAccurately take food and beverage ordersPresent and describe menu specials to guestsAnswer guest questions regarding menu items, preparation methods, and pricingEnsure food appearance, temperature, and portion sizes meet quality standardsDeliver food and beverages in a timely and professional mannerPrepare guest checks accurately following standard proceduresProcess guest payments and provide accurate changeClean, clear, and reset tables and service itemsComplete assigned side-work and cleaning checklistsRestock service stations and supplies as neededAssist with guest seating and answer restaurant telephone calls when necessaryMaintain a strong commitment to guest satisfactionMaintain reliable attendance and punctuality Skills & QualificationsStrong verbal and written communication skillsProfessional and friendly hospitality attitudeAbility to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of food safety and safe food handling proceduresKnowledge of wines and alcoholic beveragesTIPS certification or ability to become TIPS certifiedAbility to operate the Micro's computer systemStrong customer service and teamwork skillsPhysical RequirementsAbility to bend and lift food trays up to 40 lbs.Ability to work continuously in a fast-paced environmentAbility to stand for extended periods throughout the shiftAbility to climb stairsAbility to safely carry hot and cold food items Mental & Environmental RequirementsAbility to work effectively under pressureStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to hear and respond to guest requestsAbility to assess guest body language and expressionsAbility to explain menu items and specials clearlyAbility to accurately write and communicate ordersMaintain professional language, appearance, and conduct at all timesDuties & ResponsibilitiesDeliver exceptional guest service throughout the dining experiencePromote menu items and specials to increase salesMaintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areasFollow all food safety and alcohol service standardsAssist team members during busy service periodsSupport restaurant operations and guest satisfaction initiativesMaintain positive communication with guests and coworkers Equipment UsedToasterEspresso machineCoffee machineBlenderMicro 's computer terminalHeat lampMop and bucketCleaning chemicalsDustpan and broom
