Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a long-term care and some short-term care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care to a diverse population, including individuals in long-term care and short-term care.
• Coordinate care with healthcare team members to ensure the well-being of all patients.
• Monitor and document patient progress using the electronic medical record system.
• Participate in unit meetings and contribute to policy development and implementation.

Patient Care Environment

• Total beds in facility: 78
• Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:20 during day and evening shifts; 1:40 during night shifts.
• Common patient diagnoses include a general long-term care population.

Shift Requirements

• Involvement in weekend shifts is required at least every other weekend.
• Holidays are to be covered on a half-day basis.
• Available shifts include both 8-hour and 12-hour formats.

Orientation and Training

Successful candidates will participate in location-specific orientation to ensure a smooth integration into the team's processes and protocols.

Additional Information

• This position does not include on-call or call-back duties.
• Resignation or cancellation with less than 14 days' notice will incur a fee.
