Job Details:

• Location: Alexandria, Virginia
• Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification prior to first shift; Valid Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification prior to first shift (CIRH only); Minimum two (2) years of bedside clinical experience
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: Performs nursing assessments within 8 hours of admission; collaborates with the interdisciplinary team; ensures accurate documentation; participates in patient rehabilitation and discharge planning; provides patient education; communicates effectively during handoffs; delegates appropriately; maintains safety and environmental protocols; engages in professional development; assumes charge responsibilities as needed; prioritizes patient needs and optimizes staffing; contributes to a positive team environment.
