Epic Senior Analyst - Professional Billing.

The UHealth-University of Miami Health System IT Department has an opportunity for a full-time Epic Senior Analyst - Professional Billing. Core Responsibilities Collaborates with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application’s configuration, function, and access. Serves as a primary support contact for application end‑users. Initiates the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application. Initiates all phases of testing and documents workflow design. Performs analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validates the impacts to the workflow. Identifies issues and guides work to resolve them. Supports junior staff in evaluating and resolving service tickets, implementing application changes, retrieving requested data, and executing day‑to‑day operations. Collaborates with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies. Works with stakeholders, the business community, and end users to ensure the application meets UHealth’s business/clinical needs. Participates in on‑call rotations, support, and relevant committees. Maintains regular communication with team members, including participation in weekly project team meetings. Reviews the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership. Stays knowledgeable about UHealth’s policies, procedures, and business operations. Adheres to University and unit‑level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets. Department Specific Functions Understanding of revenue cycle management or experience with billing operations. Core Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. Certification in a relevant specialty or field. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Willingness to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary. Proficiency in computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office). Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others. Ability to logically examine and interpret information from different sources to determine a problem’s cause and develop a course of action to resolve the problem and prevent recurrence. Ability and willingness to take ownership of work activities and ensure they are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner. Ability and willingness to examine ideas or concepts from multiple angles.
