About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Leasing Administration to provide strategic leadership and governance for its retail lease administration platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the continuous improvement of the platform, establishing and enforcing policies, procedures, and service standards to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of lease administration activities. This role involves serving as the primary liaison between various internal and external stakeholders to maintain consistency and alignment with the investment strategy throughout the lease lifecycle. Key responsibilities for the Assistant Vice President of Leasing Administration include the onboarding of newly acquired properties, overseeing lease administration and tenant billings, managing recoveries and reconciliations, and ensuring lease compliance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years' commercial retail lease administration experience, with a strong background in retail lease structures, CAM, insurance, real estate tax recoveries, and tenant billings. Advanced proficiency in Yardi and a proven track record of leading lease administration teams or outsourced service providers are essential. The role also requires the development of operational processes, performance metrics, and a focus on continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and data integrity. Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills, as well as the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions, are a must.
