About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to serve as a central liaison and trusted advisor, working closely with the President and executive leadership team to advance the organization's mission and strategic priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the Foundation is aligned and executing its various strategies, including the highest-impact initiatives. This role involves active engagement with the Executive Team, Senior Leadership Team, and Board of Trustees to facilitate decision-making, drive execution, and create the clarity and momentum needed to advance the Foundation's work. The Chief of Staff will also be involved in representing the President and the Foundation, both internally and externally, and will lead the strategic use of the President's voice in communications. Candidates for the Chief of Staff position should have a minimum of 15 years' relevant experience, with a strong background in advising senior executives and leading complex bodies of work. A Bachelor's degree is required, and the ideal candidate will have exceptional judgment, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Strong organizational skills, the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships, and a commitment to the values of equity, diversity, and integrity are essential. The role demands a leader with a strategic mindset, who is action-oriented, collaborative, and adept at managing complexity. Experience in the philanthropic, public-sector, economic, and development contexts is a significant advantage.
