Registered Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care / Step Down (IMCU)

Immediate need for a talented Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care / Step Down (IMCU) . This is a 13 weeks contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Atlanta, GA(Onsite). Key Responsibilities Schedule: Day shifts (schedule varies) – 36 or 48 hours expected per week (contract options available) Manage a 1:4 patient ratio in a 16 20 bed medical step down unit. Monitor and manage patients with complex medical conditions including sepsis, heart failure, respiratory failure, and neurological issues. Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage cardiac monitors as needed. Perform comprehensive assessments and intervene promptly based on changing patient conditions. Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams. Educate patients and families on disease management, medications, and discharge planning. Respond to rapid changes in patient status and escalates care appropriately.
