Job Description The Field Service Representative role at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions involves providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems across various industries. This position is critical for ensuring the optimal performance of technologies such as media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis, and more. The representative will be responsible for troubleshooting, conducting maintenance, and performing analytical testing to meet customer needs and contract specifications. Key Characteristics Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance. Conduct maintenance and calibration activities on water treatment equipment. Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, and other site‑specific testing requirements. Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems. Responsibilities may change over time and may be assigned at any time. Duties & Responsibilities Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts. Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed. Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation. Consult with customer management and operation teams. Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications. Other duties as required. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Demonstrated ability to work independently and remotely with project teams. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to meet all customer site requirements. Compensation The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $34.62 - $39.42 hourly. Qualifications High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent + 2 years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment. Valid Driver’s License. Preferred: Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation. Additional Information Ability to travel within the region as needed. Nice-to-haves Experience in water treatment equipment maintenance. Strong mechanical and problem‑solving skills.
