Sr Manager, Global Indirect Procurement and Engineering

Job Title: Sr Manager, Global Indirect Procurement and Engineering Location: Piscataway, New Jersey, United States Travel: up to 10% of time Hybrid: Hybrid Responsibilities Support multi‑year category strategy and execution plan, including all aspects of total value, innovation, sustainability, resilience, cost optimization, automation and speed. Define total value metrics and tracking methodology for key supplier relationships. Develop cost models and drive fact‑based cost forecasts and budget guidance for key spend. Update annual Category/Supplier Segmentation for Capital, construction and MRO, and develop supplier engagement models accordingly. Negotiate strategic supplier contracts and support and supervise key global savings and growth initiatives. Achieve or exceed the annual savings goals. Support divisional teams, elevating any challenges with global suppliers. Identify and assess category risks, develop and execute risk mitigation plans. Lead the Global Services Procurement Capital network to implement category governance, strategic supplier relations and best‑practice sharing. Develop and implement positive relationships with category partners to elevate the procurement role on delivering against business priorities. Elevate partnerships with key suppliers to drive innovation, resilience, and total value through a customer‑of‑choice approach. Lead strategic supplier top‑to‑top engagements and drive the supplier relationship management program with identified supplier partners. Drive innovation, automation and efficiency across led spend through participation in industry events, engagement in benchmarking exercises, and bringing category trends. Develop and implement any related process improvement in the category. Contribute to the company’s renewable energy and sustainability initiatives and goals. Perform thorough spend analysis and apply spend analytics best practices for the categories under responsibility. Be a data champion and apply analytics to drive strategy and decision making. Actively support the Global Procurement Digital Transformation. Required Qualifications 8+ years of procurement experience managing supply chain categories (manufacturing, engineering, facilities management, warehousing, etc.). 4 years of experience managing supplier relationships, executing and managing supplier programs and negotiating contracts with relevant entities. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field. Experience in the CPG industry including global experience. Excellent interpersonal skills and people‑management experience. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $124,000.00 – $174,000.00 USD. Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit‑sharing, and long‑term incentives for executive‑level roles. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in a 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays. Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws.
