By hiring the best people and helping them grow both professionally and personally, we ensure a bright future for NTT DATA Services and for the people who work here.Responsibilities:Work as a Scrum Master in a SAFe - hybrid scrum/traditional SDLC environmentExperience with projects involving enterprise-wide application suites and multiple business functions.Knowledge and practice of traditional scrum ceremonies and help teams adhere to defined goals of each event.Prioritize backlog items driven by date relationships, deadlines & regulatory requirements and business driven value added featuresHelp ensure effective completion of prioritized backlog and support Product Owner in backlog management.Clearly define and articulate project risk items to clientWork with testing resources to help ensure full coverage testing needs: including configuration, development and methodology to project standards. Promote teamwork and culture of accountability. Lead by example and be a team playerManage multiple medium to large-sized projects or a single highly complex projectInteractive extensively with senior leadership within the customerDetermine and coordinate the sharing of leveraged resources among projectsProvide project and/or product deliverables including kickoff presentations, project plans, status reports, budget burn reports, and deployment plans.Help prepare and report progress metrics and performance to leadership and stakeholders.Help remove or mitigate impediments to team progress.Define and implement project and program management standards and processes within NTT DATA and across client engagementsIdentify opportunities and make recommendations for project management process improvementsRequirements:5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, ideally in the healthcare insurance industryScrum Master CertificationSAFe certificationAdvanced understanding of IT Project Management principles and techniquesDemonstrated advanced proficiency in the specific tools that are available and required as part of the company's project management information system.Advanced ability to identify, develop and quantify any required corrective action plans.Familiarity with system life cycle processes from ideation through delivery.Ability to coordinate and collaborate across multiple business units engaged in the delivery of scope and effort.Additional Nice to Have Requirements:Experience working in an extremely fast paced environmentPMP certification preferred but not requiredThis position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
