Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Surgical

The Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Surgical provides patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions. They collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and post-operative care as prescribed.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Document patient status and care activities accurately in medical records.
• Educate patients and family members about diagnoses, treatments, and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple patients with diverse needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic life support (BLS) and advanced cardiovascular life support (ACLS) certifications.
