Store Manager (Downtown Indy)

About the Store Manager Position We are looking for a store manager for our Broad Ripple location. This is an entry level Retail Management position as our stores are only about 1,500 sqft in size. A successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively. Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in scheduling, employee recruitment, or retail customer service. Store manager responsibilities may include supervising retail crew members, maintaining merchandising standards, and more. Responsibilities Supervise, train, assist, and inform employees/staff in customer service, store maintenance, updates and product promotions Develop and maintain a schedule for employees centered on holiday sales and other cycles Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with Retail Director to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals Advise on inventory levels, sales and customer feedback Ensure the store remains clean, organized and presentable at all times Hire and train as needed to ensure adequate personnel is on hand to provide outstanding customer service Ensure that a high level of customer service is being offered and compliance procedures are being followed Seek ways to better promote the store, the product line and service within the store Requirements Experience in Retail customer service Easily adaptable Good analytical skills Effective communication skills Willingness to learn Benefits Entry Level Salary 401k with employer match Vacation and Sick Days Bonuses Location Retail location will be 918 Broad Ripple Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46220 #J-18808-Ljbffr The Shop Indy, Inc.
