Donor Experience Architect & CRM Pro

Role The Donor Engagement Specialist supports the donor experience at One Hope United (OHU) and is an integral part of the OHU Advancement team. Reporting to and working closely with the Director of Communications and CRM (DCC), the Specialist plays a vital role in engaging, acknowledging, and supporting donors to achieve OHU's annual fundraising goals, including but not limited to: Build and use the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) platform to create a robust institutional record of connections, donations, and prospects. Acknowledgment of donors and contributions in a timely and meaningful way. Role The Donor Engagement Specialist supports the donor experience at One Hope United (OHU) and is an integral part of the OHU Advancement team. Reporting to and working closely with the Director of Communications and CRM (DCC), the Specialist plays a vital role in engaging, acknowledging, and supporting donors to achieve OHU's annual fundraising goals, including but not limited to: Build and use the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) platform to create a robust institutional record of connections, donations, and prospects. Acknowledgment of donors and contributions in a timely and meaningful way. This is a hybrid position with two days a week in the Chicago office. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Update, maintain, and report from donor records in the CRM system. Administer fundraising event tool to support registration, donations, and auctions. Produce CRM and fundraising event tool user guides for a consistent understanding of product use, and train OHU staff as needed. Measure the effectiveness of solicitation efforts and report outcomes and trends with dashboards and spreadsheets. Identify and research qualified prospects within the CRM to be cultivated by an OHU fundraiser. Work closely with DCC and the finance team to reconcile financial and CRM records on a monthly and annual basis. Lead donor engagement projects on a quarterly and yearly basis to ensure donors feel recognized and informed about the work being done at One Hope United. Drive peer-to-peer fundraising efforts to maximize capacity and expand our reach Streamline agency-wide gift initiatives, ensuring all contributions are captured and acknowledged. Manage a portfolio of faith-based organizations with targeted solicitations to optimize giving. Support all fundraising events, including but not limited to Thriving Together, Charity Golf Outing, One Hope United Day, and Hope Brunch. Work closely with all members of the Advancement team to ensure project timelines and goals are produced and met. Contribute content to the OHU communication channels (website, social media, monthly staff, and external newsletters). Perform other related duties as assigned Education Bachelor’s degree required. Education in nonprofit management, finance, and accounting is preferred Experience 1-3 years of professional experience Team player with a positive attitude Experience working with a mission-driven organization Other Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record with One Hope United’s required levels of coverage for auto insurance Required Skills Strong attention to detail Discretion regarding sensitive and confidential material Interest in learning the nonprofit sector, fundraising, and donor engagement methods Desire to become proficient in CRM Familiarity with MS Office (required), Familiarity with Bloomerang CRM & Fundraising, iWave, and other donation platforms (preferred) The Desired Candidate Will Be a highly proactive team player with a positive attitude Have the ability to work independently to produce high-quality results Be goal-driven, results-oriented, and committed to delivering on OHU's strategic goals Be a collaborative colleague who cultivates and values partnerships Share a passion for the OHU mission We Invest in You!
