Hidden Valley Camp, a creative and performing arts camp, seeks a skilled and passionate Glass Blowing Assistant Instructor & Camp Counselor for Summer 2026. Dates: June 13 – August 21, 2026 The Role: Assist in teaching foundational glass blowing and/or flameworking to campers (ages 8-16). Ensure studio safety and organization. Serve as a cabin counselor, mentoring and supervising a group of campers. Actively participate in general camp life and activities. Qualifications: Demonstrate strong foundational skills in glass blowing (hot shop) and/or flameworking (lampworking) techniques. Prior experience teaching art or technical skills, particularly to children or adolescents. Genuine passion for education, working with children, and fostering artistic growth in a supportive, non-competitive setting. Free room, board, and meals. Generous time off: Every other night off and 36 consecutive hours off weekly. Glass studio access for personal projects.
