This role plays a key part in medication preparation, inventory management, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and maintaining an organized, compliant, and efficient pharmacy environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced long-term care (LTC) pharmacy setting, with strong technical skills and a commitment to accuracy, safety, and teamwork./ph3Qualifications/h3pQualifications/pulliCurrent state registration as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing/liliPharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred/liliIV certification preferred/liliAbility to read, write, and speak the English language fluently/li/ulpEssential Functions/pulliEnter prescription and physician order data into the pharmacys data processing system/liliPull stock bottles and prepare medications for packaging and dispensing/liliAffix prescription and auxiliary labels to medication containers/liliReconstitute medications as required/liliPackage and label pre-packaged medications/liliAssemble and audit emergency kits/liliPerform sterile and non-sterile compounding in accordance with regulations and best practices/liliProcure and stock pharmaceuticals and ancillary supplies/liliAssist with inventory management and cycle counts/liliSupport maintenance of pharmacy equipment, environmental controls, cleanliness, and organization/liliUtilize pharmacy operating systems, digital imaging software, automated dispensing systems, and Microsoft applications/liliParticipate in scheduling, coordination, and preparation of medication deliveries/liliAssist with training newly hired technicians and student externs as assigned/liliSupport auditing of patient records as needed/liliParticipate in continuous quality improvement initiatives/liliPromote teamwork, communication, and a positive work environment/liliEnsure patient and resident safety at all times/liliPerform other duties as assigned/li/ulpWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
