Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements VI or CV certifications a plus. How many scanners/rooms does this department have? Four rooms, including neuro IR Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No floating. IR only Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties All IR procedures. St. Anthony is also a comprehensive stroke center so neuro IR procedures also. Experience or 'Must have' skills Prior IR experience required. Neuro IR preferred Average # of scans/studies per day EPIC. Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Siemens and Phillips. Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Mike Bass is the IR supervisor. Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? Not used Radiologist in-house? Our radiologists are in-house during the day and on-call nights and weekends. Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) IV starts are not in the job description for this role. Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Primary shift is dayshift. 0700 - 1730. Four 10 hour days. Weeknight/Call Requirements On call around 8 shifts including 1 weekend in a 6 week period. Weekend/Call Requirements On call around 8 shifts including 1 weekend in a 6 week period.
