We Are Hiring Location: Mequon, WI Facility: Columbia St. Mary's Ozaukee Department/Specialty: Emergency Department Schedule: Day Shift | Part-time What You Will Do Lead the initial response at emergency scenes by rapidly assessing the situation and developing a decisive action plan to stabilize the patient and secure their well‑being. Execute critical, outcome-focused patient care and support treatment during transport, skillfully utilizing specialized medical equipment to sustain the patient's condition. Communicate essential patient status updates and clinical findings seamlessly to the primary Registered Nurse (RN) to ensure immediate, informed decisions and a clear continuity of care. Document the patient care journey with accuracy, continuously monitoring the patient's condition and recording vital data to maintain high‑quality, reliable medical records. Support patient safety and mobility by assisting with ambulation, placement, and transport, ensuring a secure and comforting experience across all transitions. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Emergency Medical Tech credentialed from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Driver's License preferred. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job‑specific experience required.
