Job Summary : We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with behavioral health needs in a residential setting. This position will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and personal development of residents during overnight hours.

Job Summary : We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with behavioral health needs in a residential setting. This position will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and personal development of residents during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide direct care and support to residents, assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) including grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Monitor and assist with medication administration according to prescribed schedules.
- Ensure the safety of all residents by responding to emergencies and implementing appropriate interventions.
- Support residents in managing behavioral health needs, including emotional support, de-escalation techniques, and promoting positive behaviors.
- Complete necessary documentation, including progress notes and incident reports, in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Foster an environment of respect, dignity, and compassion for residents.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other staff to ensure the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
- A bachelor's degree in a related field is required for this position.
- Previous experience in direct support or healthcare settings is preferred, especially in residential care or behavioral health environments.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Knowledge of safety procedures, emergency protocols, and de-escalation techniques.
