Rental Sales Representative

Location: Taylor, MI Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 5:00 PM Pay: $21.00 per hour Benefits: Dental, Vision, Medical, 401k, Paid Time Off Essential Functions Sales & Marketing: Handle sales and sales process for inbound calls as well as outbound solicitation; responsible for executing the business unit's marketing plan; maintain current accurate data within the company's marketing database; maximize rate opportunities within the marketplace; generate rental, lease and used vehicle sales leads; maintain and expand relationships with existing customer base; maximize operational effectiveness by coordinating overall inventory levels to meet customer demand; meet overall Ryder market share by executing sales and marketing initiatives. Operations & Asset Management: Responsible for overall profitability, operations and asset management of a rental location; account for coordinating with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction; maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies; understand marketplace conditions to maximize utilization of the rental fleet. Customer: Drive profitable revenue growth by maintaining and growing customer relationships; ensure overall satisfaction for all internal and external customers; reconcile all customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain the ongoing relationship. Communication: Build constructive and effective relationships with both internal and external customers; maintain composure when addressing stressful situations; clearly articulate Ryder's product and service offerings. Additional Responsibilities On a voluntary basis based on scheduling, perform the role of On-Call Representative as required by Supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. Compensation Information The position may be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
