Personal Care Attendant (PCA)

Position Overview The LifeWorks School in Levittown, PA is hiring a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) for the 2026-2027 academic school year. This is a per diem position; the candidate will work only when the student attends school. The PCA is assigned to a specific student or group of students who regularly require one-on-one assistance to maintain appropriate and equitable participation in the school setting. The LifeWorks School is a licensed specialty therapeutic day school serving middle and high school students with social, emotional, or behavioral health challenges. Its curriculum is individualized and designed to actively engage each student throughout the day to achieve positive, pro-social behavioral and educational outcomes. Responsibilities Assist students under the direction of the teacher. Provide one-on-one support to assigned students or student groups. Maintain appropriate and equitable participation in the school setting. Work under the general supervision of the program supervisor of special education. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years of age. High School Diploma or equivalent. Any additional pre-requisite requirements as defined by state regulations.
