Leesburg Concrete Company
Job Description
Job Description
Precast Form Carpenters & Concrete Laborers (Steady Year-Round Shop Work)
Company: Leesburg Concrete
Location: Leesburg, FL (Indoor/Outdoor Manufacturing Plant – No traveling to changing field sites!)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Tired of unpredictable weather, constant travel, and seasonal layoffs?
Get reliable, year-round hours working directly out of our established precast manufacturing plant in Leesburg. We do not do field concrete pouring; we manufacture high-quality precast architectural and structural concrete products in a controlled plant environment. If you show up with a good attitude and a willingness to work, we have a stable, long-term spot for you on our team.
✨ WHAT WE OFFER (The Total Package):
- Stable Schedule: Steady, predictable hours every single week (with plenty of overtime available).
- Work Close to Home: No driving all over Central Florida to different job sites. You start and finish at the same plant every day.
- We Will Train You: Have a great work ethic but no precast experience? Apply anyway. We train the right people.
- Career Growth: We promote from within. Learn a highly specialized trade in the booming precast industry.
OPEN POSITIONS & WHAT YOU'LL DO:
1. Precast Form Carpenters
- Build, modify, and set up wood or steel forms/molds based on production blueprints.
- Position rebar, mesh, and embedded items before concrete pouring.
- Use standard shop hand tools, tape measures, saws, and drills.
- Requirements: Basic carpentry or framing experience. If you can read a tape measure and use a circular saw safely, we want to talk to you.
2. Concrete Plant Laborers
- Assist with placing, vibrating, and finishing concrete inside the forms.
- Strip, clean, and oil molds to prep them for the next day's production cycle.
- Inspect, patch, and finish cured concrete products to ensure top quality.
- Requirements: Reliable transportation, ability to lift heavy objects, and a commitment to working safely around heavy machinery.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- Reliability: You show up on time, ready to work, every day.
- Team Player: You work well with a crew and listen to safety instructions.
- Physical Stamina: Comfort working in a hands-on, active manufacturing plant environment (both indoor and outdoor shop areas).
