We value and reward hardworking, creative, and dedicated employees that desire to be part of a team committed to outstanding customer service.START YOUR CAREER NOW.The Proposal Development Specialist defines and delivers strategic solutions that will result in the successful promotion of the DNOW brand, products, and services.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESCreate and identify key initiatives for driving greater value within global strategic accounts, to assist with strategic initiatives, and to grow market share by continuously producing both proactive and reactive customer proposals, including responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)Direct the implementation of key initiatives and capture knowledge of best practices and successesDrive creative solutions using marketing, communications, and sales as strategic toolsCreate customer-specific proactive proposals and responses to RFIs and RFPsDevelop and distribute appropriate proposal-related documentation, including legal terms & conditions, market baskets, schedules & deadlines, bid requirements, and kick-off presentations.Responsible for creating strategic growth initiatives and account retention projectsCreate compelling value propositions with current and future customers/accountsAssist with new business implementations and case-study developmentDeliver material to assist in the development of new businessAssist members from Sales, Operations, and Leadership Team on key projects and programsManage best practicesOther duties, as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or Business, or equivalent years of experienceSolid communication skills, both oral and writtenAbility to effectively organize time and prioritize deliverables and deadlinesDetail-oriented, team-oriented, and conscientiousAbility to work independentlySolid computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Great attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong desire to learnPrevious experience in and familiarity with the oil and gas industry is preferredBENEFITS:Competitive Salary401(k)/ Retirement savingsComprehensive Benefits (medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverage)Career growth opportunitiesPaid vacation/holidays
