About the Position

Locum Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO)

Location: Tennessee

Schedule / Job Type: Contract | Emergency Medicine

Position Summary: Provide comprehensive emergency care and serve as the supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants within an Emergency Medicine department.

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted Tennessee medical license
• Active DEA registration with Tennessee address (Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5)
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine through ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABPS, or AOA
• ACLS and ATLS
• PALS required if not Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• NRP required for non-ABEM providers
• Malpractice coverage of $1,000,000 per claim / $3,000,000 aggregate required
• Case logs from the previous two years and documentation of special procedure training, if applicable
• Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME required upon initial appointment and every two years thereafter
