Assembler | $20 .82 per hour + $1.00 shift premium | Monday – Friday 4:30 pm- 1 am | Direct Hire

Job Description

You will perform a variety of jobs, fitting together manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or completed products. These products can be mechanical, electrical, or a combination of both.

Responsibilities:

• Operate assembly equipment such as rivet machines, assembly presses, and power tools
• Fit together manufactured parts into subassemblies or completed products
• Basic inspection to ensure the quality of parts
• Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality, and safety

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Must be able to read and understand blueprints and produce parts from the information obtained from the blueprints within required tolerances
• 1-2 years’ experience
• Able to operate assembly equipment such as rivet machines, assembly presses and power tools
• Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing, bending, twisting, turning, and lifting to 30lbs.

The base salary range for this position is $20.82 + $1 shift premium per hour, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note that hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
