As a Quality Inspector you will perform basic quality control testing and inspection of standard parts, units, equipment, or material to ensure conformance with standards and determine if product meets all requirements.Location: Pittsburgh, PAWhat You'll Do:Inspect finished parts at the end of a production line for adherence to quality standardsUnderstand how to link written standards to physical partsCollect data each shift to report defect types and quantitiesUse electronic equipment to log information retrieved from physical partsTag products that are determined to be acceptable with the corresponding informationCommunicate with production employees the findings and how to properly repair defectsOperate hoists and equipment as needed by work cellWhat You Need:Previous quality inspection experience is a plus.Must be a detail oriented individualMust be able to double check your own findings in the event of mismatched information collectedMust have strong interpersonal skills including being capable of working with others in the resolution of problems and getting the job done.Working Conditions:Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidaysAbility to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plantSafety ActivitiesBe aware of and observe all safety practices.
