Staff Accountant

We're an award winning lawn maintenance & landscape construction company looking for a detail-driven Staff Accountant who wants to build their accounting career inside a real operations-driven business. You'll handle the day-to-day transactional accounting that keeps our install and maintenance crews moving- including bank deposits, reconciliations, invoicing, job costing support, payroll and maintain clean financial records. What You'll Do Prepare daily/weekly bank deposits and maintain accurate cash records Complete monthly bank and credit card reconciliations in QuickBooks Desktop Create and send customer invoices (maintenance + construction) Track A/R, send customer statements, and support basic collections Enter A/P bills, match to POs/receipts, and flag discrepancies Assist with job costing, labor allocation, and material coding Support month-end close with schedules, accruals, and cleanup tasks Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal supervisors to keep financial details accurate and timely Help streamline and document accounting processes as we scale Are highly detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Communicate clearly with field teams, leadership, customers, and vendors Are comfortable working in QuickBooks Desktop, Excel, and learning LMN Enjoy seeing how accounting connects to real operations, jobs, and crews Have an interest in the landscape, construction, or outdoor living industries Want meaningful, hands-on experience in a local business Why Join Us Grow your skills under a CPA mentor in a real-world operations environment Be part of a tight-knit company that builds meaningful outdoor spaces Competitive pay, benefits, and a clear path for advancement to controller Your work directly impacts profitability, efficiency, and team success #J-18808-Ljbffr
