In this position, you are responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the machine shop by maintaining a steady flow of materials, tools, and supplies to the workstations. This role is crucial in minimizing downtime and supporting the production team to meet their targets.**Responsibilities:**· **Material Handling:** Transport raw materials, components, and finished products between storage areas and workstations.· **Inventory Management:** Monitor inventory levels of materials and tools and replenish as needed to prevent shortages.· **Tool Preparation:** Ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good working condition for the production team.· **Workstation Organization:** Maintain a clean and organized work environment by removing waste and unnecessary items from workstations.· **Communication:** Coordinate with production supervisors and team members to understand their needs and prioritize tasks accordingly.· **Documentation:** Keep accurate records of material movements, inventory levels, and any issues encountered during the shift.· **Safety Compliance:** Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.**Qualifications:**· High school diploma or equivalent.
