Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment and discharge plans that restore function and improve quality of life
- Document patient services accurately, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and families to ensure well-coordinated, patient-centered care
- Uphold the highest standards of infection control and safety in every patient interaction
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
- Current West Virginia SLP license (or eligibility) and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY supervision available
- Strong communication, documentation, and clinical problem-solving skills
- Passion for helping people rediscover their voice and improve their daily lives
Education
- Master's degree (MS/MA) in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

- Expertise in speech, language, and swallowing therapy techniques
- Patient evaluation and evidence-based treatment planning
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and effective documentation
- Infection control and clinical problem-solving
