JobSummary Weareseekinganexperienced GradingForeman toleadcrewsonsitedevelopmentandearthworkprojects.Theidealcandidatewillhavestrongleadershipskills,in-depthknowledgeofgradingandexcavationtechniques,andacommitmenttosafetyandqualityproduction. Responsibilities Superviseandcoordinategradingandearthworkactivitiesoncivilconstructionprojects. Interpretconstructionplans,specifications,andgradestakes. Ensuregradingoperationsmeetdesignelevations,slopes,andprojecttolerances. Manageateamofequipmentoperators,laborers,andsubcontractors. OperateGPS-equippedequipmentwhennecessary(TrimbleorTopconexperiencepreferred). Scheduledailytasks,coordinateequipment,andtrackprogressagainstschedules. Conductsiteinspectionstoensurecompliancewithsafetystandardsandprojectspecifications. Communicatewithprojectmanagers,superintendents,andengineerstosolvefieldissues. Maintainaccuratetimecards,productionreports,anddailylogs. Promoteacultureofsafetyandenforcecompanysafetypolicies. Qualifications 3-5years ofexperienceingrading/sitework,with 2+yearsinaleadershiporforemanrole. Strongunderstandingofgradecontrol,soiltypes,anddrainage. Experienceworkingwith GPSmachinecontrolandgradechecking . Abilitytoreadandinterpretcivilconstructiondrawingsandspecifications. Excellentcommunicationandleadershipskills. Validdriver’slicense;CDLisaplus. Mustbeabletoworkoutdoorsinvaryingconditions. PhysicalRequirements Abilitytoliftupto50lbs.andperformphysicallaborwhenneeded. Abilitytostand,walk,bend,andoperateequipmentforextendedperiods. Workinallweatherconditionsandinspectconstructionsitesasneeded. #J-18808-Ljbffr
