Commercial Title Assistant

. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a few years of experience in the title or escrow industry who is ready to build their knowledge of

commercial real estate transactions

and grow alongside experienced title professionals. Location/Schedule: Concord, CA | Fully Onsite | Monday-Friday In this role, you’ll support an experienced Commercial Title team handling high-volume commercial real estate transactions, including affordable housing transactions throughout California. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to complex title transactions, work alongside experienced title professionals, and develop the knowledge and skills needed to grow your career. What You'll Do Provide administrative and transactional support to Commercial Title Officers and the broader commercial title team Assist with the preparation and processing of commercial real estate title transactions Prepare, organize, and maintain title-related documents, reports, and correspondence Research title matters and gather information needed to support transactions Review documents and information for accuracy and completeness Coordinate with internal teams, clients, lenders, attorneys, and other transaction parties as needed Help monitor transaction timelines and follow up on outstanding items to keep transactions moving forward Assist with resolving routine title and transaction issues by following established procedures and seeking guidance when needed Maintain accurate and confidential transaction records Provide professional and responsive service to clients and colleagues Learn and apply Old Republic Title's policies, procedures, and industry practices What We're Looking For 1–3 years of experience in title, escrow, real estate, or a related field Commercial title experience is a plus, but not required Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional and service-oriented approach when working with clients and colleagues Ability to research information, identify issues, and follow established procedures to find solutions Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems and processes A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn Why Join Old Republic Title? Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and general computer operations. Organizational Excellence: Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Communication Strengths: Clear, grammatically correct, and professional verbal and written communication. You’ll actively listen and use sound judgment, being mindful of the role nonverbal communication plays. Independence and Initiative: The ability to act independently, take initiative, and make decisions with sound judgment. Adaptability: Comfort working under time constraints and meeting strict deadlines without compromising quality. Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook. Ability to work in fast paced environment while successfully performing under extreme time constraints and meets prescribed deadlines. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects. Ability to act independently with sound judgment and take initiative. Written and verbal communications are clear, grammatically correct and business appropriate. Actively listens and is mindful of the role body language, gestures and other nonverbal actions can play in communication. The Following Apply to Southern California Title Operations only: Responsible for examining and verifying basic residential title matters This role involves assisting with all requests made to assigned Title Officers Review file prior to recordation for required demands Process orders/searches/quotes that are received daily by close of business Reviewing recorded documents and documents provided for accuracy and authentic signatures Tasking to CPU for ordering of demands Regular collaboration with sales in order to facilitate smooth closing Some Commercial Title Experience required Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent professional written, verbal, listening and communication skills. Must be a personable, positive, and professional representative of the company. Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, employees, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors. Lead by positive example. Physical/Mental Demands

: The ability to work with confidential information. The ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday is required. Repetitive and continual keyboard activity and interaction with display monitors is required. Local/daily travel by automobile and overnight business travel by air and/or automobile, may be required. Position's Pay Range

: $34.00 - $36.00 an hour.
