HR Generalist - Retail Distribution Center

Position Summary
The Distribution Center HR Generalist plays a critical role in supporting a fast-paced warehouse operation by partnering closely with leadership and employees across the facility. This role requires a highly organized, resilient, and people-focused HR professional who can thrive under pressure, handle sensitive employee relations matters, and maintain professionalism in a demanding environment.
The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator, active listener, and capable of managing difficult conversations and investigations while supporting operational goals and maintaining compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator, active listener, and capable of managing difficult conversations and investigations while supporting operational goals and maintaining compliance with company policies. Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support within the distribution center environment
- Handle employee relations matters, including investigations, policy violations, and workplace concerns
- Support leadership with coaching, documentation, corrective actions, and conflict resolution
- Conduct and assist with investigations involving harassment, workplace behavior, and employee complaints
- Maintain HR records, reporting, and organizational processes with strong attention to detail
- Support recruiting, onboarding, orientation, and employee engagement initiatives
- Partner with operations leadership in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ensure compliance with company policies and employment practices
- HR experience required
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Employee relations and investigation experience strongly preferred
- Must be highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in challenging situations
- Must be tough-skinned, professional, and capable of handling sensitive issues appropriately
- Strong listening, communication, and interpersonal skills required
- Benefits experience is not required, and can be trained
