- Manage a consistent onboarding process for all newly hired and rehired employees, contracted personnel, volunteers, and students.
- Conduct new hire orientation and continually evaluate and update orientation processes as needed.
- Coordinate with department leaders to develop and maintain a consistent departmental orientation process throughout the organization.
- Track new employees through the first 90 days of employment, ensuring required onboarding activities are completed and basic systems, resources, and support needs are met.
- Coordinate provider onboarding with the Provider Onboarding Team and serve as the Education representative during provider onboarding meetings.
- Collaborate with Employee Health to ensure all orientation participants meet Employee Health requirements.
- Participate in delegated Human Resources functions, including maintenance of employee personnel files, issuance of access badges, and other HR support activities as assigned.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and tracking of annual and ongoing competency training for all staff.
- Participate in the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including learner reporting, compliance tracking, and notification of delinquent training requirements.
- Provide administrative and technical support to instructors and staff utilizing the LMS.
- Research nationally recognized evidence-based practices and assist in the development, implementation, and revision of organizational policies, procedures, and educational materials based on published guidelines.
- Oversee the employee education reimbursement program and participate in financial planning for the program.
- Administer the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services Business Training Grant.
- Provide support for education initiatives by addressing policy inquiries and coordinating training logistics, travel arrangements, and related educational resources.
- Coordinate with educational institutions to maintain clinical affiliation agreements and certificates of insurance (COIs), manage student experiences, and ensure consistent orientation and compliance with organizational policies.
- Travel to remote clinics as needed to administer and support staff and training programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needs arise.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop, facilitate, and present educational programs.
- Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
- Sound analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships and communicate professionally with physicians, board members, leadership, employees, students, educational partners, and the public.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while fostering a positive, cooperative, and respectful workplace culture.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Ability to learn and effectively utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS), employee education software, and other technology required to support training and education initiatives.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive employee and organizational information.
- Comply with HIPAA and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and driving record that meets Star Valley Health vehicle fleet insurance requirements.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and perform computer work for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to travel to remote clinic locations as needed.
- Associate degree in Education, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience in employee education, staff development, human resources, organizational training, or a related field preferred.
- Two (2) years of healthcare clinic or hospital experience preferred.
- Experience administering Learning Management Systems (HealthStream preferred) or comparable learning management software.
- Experience coordinating employee education programs, competency management, onboarding, or continuing education activities preferred.
- Experience administering tuition reimbursement programs, workforce development grants, or grant writing/management preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat Pro (PDF) and Adobe Captivate preferred.
- Experience with data entry, data management, and report preparation preferred
