Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. Per Diem/Variable Shift

Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic (site specific) purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patient, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive pharmaceuticals and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and/or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Education sufficient to meet certification, licensure, or registration requirements
• Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist or
• Upon hire: Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS American Heart Association
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Registered Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology or
• Within 6 months (180 days) of hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
